Fright Night is set to arrive on Blu-ray and DVD just in time for the holidays. The movie comes with some aweomse un-rated bonus features that give this blood-sucking thriller some extra bite. I really enjoyed this movie and can not wait to see it on Blu-ray with the extra features.

The 19th Annual Hamptons International Film Festival, which runs from October 13th to 17th, has announced two high-profile films as its centerpiece and closing night features.

Drake Doremus’s Like Crazy, which won this year’s Sundance Grand Jury Prize, is this year’s centerpiece film, and its lead actor Anton Yelchin will be honored as one of this year’s breakthrough performers. The closing film is Michel Hazanavicius’s The Artist, the contemporary silent film that won lead actor Jean Dujardin Cannes’ Best Actor award, set to be released by the Weinstein Company November 23.

The festival has also announced The Bully Project, Lee Hirsch’s exposé on bullying among American youth, will receive the Brizzolara Family Foundation Award for a film of Conflict & Resolution, a signature prize at the festival for the last 12 years. (Source)

I’ve added the DVD and Blu-ray disc video artwork for The Smurfs into the gallery. Sony has announced they will be releasing The Smurfs starring Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays and Hank Azaria, along with the voices of Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, George Lopez, Anton Yelchin and Paul Reubens, in a pair of Blu-ray configurations on Friday, December 2nd. The first configuration is three discs and includes the film on Blu-ray and DVD, as well as The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol, and all-new mini-movie. This is the special holiday gift set edition.

The second configuration includes the film on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray 2D and DVD across two discs. This version does not include The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol, so if you want that new mini-movie and the Blu-ray 3D version, you’re out of luck. Head over to the gallery for the latest additions.
