Here is a first look at Anton’s new and upcoming movie, Burying The Ex, co-starring with Ashley Greene.

You know the story: Boy meets girl. Boy and girl fall in love. Girl dies and comes back as a zombie.
Well, that’s the story of Burying the Ex, a new romantic zombie comedy, or zom-com, as the cast and crew call it, starring Ashley Greene (Twilight) and Anton Yelchin (Star Trek). EW was on set for an exclusive first look and a chance to talk with the stars and director.

Burying the Ex follows Max (Yelchin), an all-around nice guy, and his incredibly beautiful but overbearing and manipulative girlfriend Evelyn (Greene). After they move in together, Evelyn is killed in a freak accident, leaving Max single and free from her controlling nightmare — or so he thinks.

October 30, 2012Author: webmissComments Off on Anton to Star in ‘5 To 7’

Anton, alongside Diane Kruger, are attached to star in the romantic comedy 5 TO 7, written and to be directed by Victor Levin (AMC’s “Mad Men”), it was announced today by producers Bonnie Curtis and Julie Lynn of Mockingbird Pictures and The Solution Entertainment Group’s (“The Solution”) co-founders and partners, Lisa Wilson and Myles Nestel.

Wilson and Nestel are on board as co-executive producers of the film with the company also handling international distribution rights. The Solution will introduce the project to buyers at the upcoming American Film Market.

Scheduled to start production in late February 2013, 5 TO 7 is set in New York, where an aspiring novelist (Yelchin) has a cinq-a-sept affair with the beautiful wife of a French diplomat (Kruger). Cultures, world views, personal ethics and dietary preferences clash as love deepens, with remarkable results in this romantic comedy.

“Vic Levin’s script has us in tears — we’re just not sure if it’s from laughing or crying. We’re excited about the grace and intelligence that he, Diane and Anton will bring to their interpretations of his beautiful story,” said Curtis and Lynn.

“This is just a great script with a wonderful cast attached and filmmakers involved who have a fantastic track record. It exactly matches our criteria of offering only the very best in independent filmmaking to our clients. The response to the project has been overwhelming,” said Wilson and Nestel.

Today, September 8th, marks the 46th anniversary of Gene Roddenberry’s “Star Trek,” but ComingSoon.net is celebrating a little early with a juicy rumor to share. We’ve been been told that the 2013 J.J. Abrams sequel has chosen a title and will hit theaters as Star Trek Into Darkness.

Although we have not yet been able to officially confirm said title, the domain names www.startrekintodarkness.com and www.startrekintodarknessmovie were both registered yesterday through MarkMonitor, an anonymous domain registry service that just so happens to have been utilized by Paramount Pictures for recent URLs like their official G.I. Joe: Retaliation site.

We’ll bring you confirmation as soon as it’s available, but what is certain is that the film will star Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alice Eve and Peter Weller with a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Damon Lindelof and that it will hit theaters on May 17, 2013 in 2D, 3D theaters and IMAX 3D versions.
