The Aruba International Film Festival has announced its lineup with over 60 features and documentaries in competition at the fifth annual event.

Zachary Sluser’s The Driftless Area, starring Anton Yelchin and Zooey Deschanel, will open the fest. Paz Fábrega’s Viaje has also been announced as the closing film.

Driftless Area, based on the novel of the same title by Tom Drury, centers on a budding love affair that causes a ripple effect in a quiet town. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in April.

This year’s lineup also includes the Caribbean premiere of The Lobster, starring Colin Farrell and Oscar-winner Rachel Weisz. Yorgos Lanthimos’ sci-fi comedy recently premiered at the Toronto and Cannes Film Festivals.

Also playing are Colombian drama La Tierra y la Sombra as well as Malin Ackerman-Nina Dobrev pic The Final Girls.

The Aruba Film Festival will be held October 7-11.

Paramount, Skydance and Bad Robot have moved Star Trek Beyond back two weeks from July 8, 2016 to July 22, 2016, the studio announced Thursday.

Star Trek Beyond was going to open against Zac Efron‘s comedy ‘Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates’ and Illumination Entertainment’s animated movie ‘The Secret Life of Pets,’ but it will now go head-to-head with Guy Ritchie‘s ‘King Arthur’ and Fox’s animated movie ‘Ice Age: Collision Course.’

Star Trek Beyond will now arrive one week after Sony’s Ghostbusters and one week before the next chapter in Universal’s Bourne franchise.

A24 has picked up the U.S. rights to Green Room, Broad Green’s horror thriller starring Patrick Stewart and Anton Yelchin, ahead of its North American premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.

A24 is planning a theatrical run in spring 2016.

Jeremy Saulnier, who generated acclaim with this thriller Blue Ruin, helmed the movie, which sees Yelchin, Imogen Poots and Alia Shawkat as members of a punk band that see something they shouldn’t while at a gig in an Oregon backwoods club. The club’s owners, led by a diabolical Stewart, decide this will be the band’s final appearance, leading to a life-or-death battle.

The film premiered at Cannes to reviews praising Stewart and Poots while noting the efficacy of the ultraviolence.
